The Christian Cross In 1997, on the 220 anniversary of the establishment of Ravnogor as an administrative unit was built this symbol of Christianity. It was built by engineer George Todorov Pashkulev and engineer Ivan D. Zungarov during the mandate of Mayor Peter Anev, sponsored by patriotic Bulgarians. This symbol welcomes every single visitor of Ravnogor and recognized the village as the Christian capital of the Rhodopes.
