According to the researches made in 1993-1994 by NASA, the region around Ravnogor , 40 km in diameter, is declared to be the cleanest on the Balkans. The researches are made with the use of satellite pictures from space sonda. They are published in 1994 in the prestigious American magazine “National Geographic”.
