The climate is mild, mountain-continental. The spring brings the storks, snowdrops and daffodils. Late and cool, the spring is usually accompanied by snow storms. The summer is warm, influenced by cool Mediterranean breezes, with temperatures ranging from 12 to 28 degrees Celsius. It is the time of the year with the most traditional holidays. Celebrated are the “Ravnogor Day”, “Ilinden” and “Atoluka”. That is the time when the villagers mow the succulent meadows. The Golden Autumn is the time for the potato harvest and for collecting woods for the winter. The temperature doesn’t exceed 22 degrees Celsius. The winter is the most attractive season for tourists. Long, white and snowy it goes from November 15 to March 31. Many holidays take place during the winter, such as “todorovden” and “babinden”. Main attraction for the visitors is the newly built ski track, with a lift, not far away from the village.
