Route peak St. Iliya.

There was a monastery on this peak but it was destroyed along with 230 churches. It was rebuilt in 1908 but exists from 400 years. It was the Christian sanctuary for the whole region. For the moment divine services take place there during the whole year but mostly for the holiday ‘Iilinden’ when thousands of local people and guests come for a pleasant weekend with their relatives and friends.
